Have you ever wondered what a fat quarter is❓❓ It is a term used often but maybe you aren't exactly sure what it mean. A fat quarter is a piece of fabric that equals a quarter of a yard but it is cut differently from a regular quarter yard. A fat quarter is fabric cut into a rectangle that measures 18" x 22". You can find them at local fabric stores, craft shops, and even in the fabric aisles at Walmart. They come in lots of colors and patterns, which makes them super fun to use. 🏪 Fat quarters are perfect for little sewing projects because they give you enough fabric to make something cute without needing a big yard of cloth. This week’s projects will help you practice cutting, sewing straight lines, and mixing different fabrics together. They’re quick to finish, so you can make something fun even on busy days.
